🎶✨ EVHS’s band and choir visited us for a festive holiday concert that brought lots of smiles and cheer. Many of the performers were once Farmington elementary students, making the experience even more special.
The program featured a variety of favorite Christmas songs, and our 5th grade band members had the exciting opportunity to stand beside a high school musician who plays the same instrument for one song. The audience joined in by singing and clapping along, creating a joyful celebration for all! 🎄🎺🎤

🚒From Fire Drill to Festive Thrill🎅
When Santa and the Grinch both showed up during our monthly fire drill, CCPD made sure everyone was safe and sound. Once they confirmed the Grinch wasn’t here to steal our joy, he was cleared to high-five students and help spread some holiday cheer! 🎄🚓

Our kindergarten classrooms proudly created a festive holiday turkey wall display, showcasing a colorful array of handcrafted feathers made by the students. Each feather highlights an important message about kindness, positivity, helping others, and sharing. Together, the students’ artwork forms a vibrant reminder of the values we celebrate during the holiday season and throughout the year. Happy Thanksgiving!

Bring in 8 cans to be entered into the pie-a-teacher drawing. Bring in 16 cans and you get two entries...and so on! Remember, bringing in cans enters you into the drawing, but doesn’t automatically let you pie a teacher — your name has to be drawn. Let’s work together to hit our goal and have some fun while helping our community!

A colorful flyer titled “Run, Run, as Fast as You Can… to Family Literacy Night.” The event is on Thursday, December 4, 2025, from 5:30–6:30 p.m. at Farmington Elementary, sponsored by Title 1. Sections: Author Visit: Author and illustrator Layton Scarbrough will visit to read The Gingerbread Rex and lead students in a directed drawing activity so they can create their own illustrations. Create a Gingerbread Character: Students will design a new gingerbread character and write a story about him or her, answering prompts like “Who is he running from?” and “Where did he escape to?” Recipe + Reading: All students will take home a gingerbread cookie recipe and baking kit to read and bake together with their families. RSVP Section: Families are asked to return the bottom portion by November 21, 2025 to RSVP. The form asks for the student’s name and number of adults and students attending. The flyer features images of gingerbread cookies, candy decorations, and illustrations of The Gingerbread Rex book.
