🎓✨ Congratulations, 5th Grade! ✨🎓 You’ve worked hard, grown so much and made amazing memories along the way. As you move on to middle school, remember to believe in yourselves, stay curious, and never stop reaching for your dreams.🦊 Forever a Fox 🦊

SCA’s 2nd annual Tat the Teacher was a huge success! 🎉Thanks to the support of our students and families, we raised over $750 for our school! More than 40 staff members joined in on the fun and got “tatted” for a great cause. Thank you to everyone who donated, participated, and helped make this fundraiser such a memorable success! ❤️

Today we celebrated D.A.R.E. Graduation with our Farmington 5th graders! Over the past 10 weeks, students have learned so much more than the dangers of substance abuse — they’ve built important life skills like managing stress, handling peer pressure, preventing bullying, and making safe, responsible decisions both in person and online. Thank you, Deputy Meyer!

📸If you have a former Farmington Fox graduating this year, drop a picture in the comments!
Today we welcomed the Eastern View Class of 2026 back through the halls of Farmington for their senior walk. 🦊We love reminding our students that once a Fox, always a Fox. Congratulations, seniors — we are so proud of you! 🎓✨
Our 3rd graders participated in Market Day as part of their Economics Unit, where they created goods or services to sell and practiced marketing and pricing strategies. Students also learned about economic choices, supply and demand, and budgeting through this fun hands-on experience.

In the ABC countdown, 2nd grade celebrated the letter T with the school’s ITRT- Mrs. Nicholson. She and Ms. Harris brought in a huge variety of activities for the 2nd graders to explore and enjoy.

Today, our 4th graders had their turn to participate in hands-on activities with the Friends of the Rappahannock! Students explored environmental concepts firsthand while learning about the importance of protecting our local watershed.

Who said all work and no play? Even with the rainy weather, learning and fun continued in Mr. Atkin’s class today! Students were still able to tie-dye their Field Day shirts while also spending time building their reading skills.

🐣 Continuing the annual tradition, Mrs. McMahon's class partnered with Culpeper County 4-H for the "Embryology in the Classroom" program. Students were thrilled to watch chicks hatch and enjoyed reading to the chicks!

🍎 Teacher Appreciation Twist at Farmington! 🍎Today, our staff at Farmington enjoyed a Subway lunch—but the appreciation didn’t stop there! Putting science and reading into action, Mrs. Teitelbaum’s class turned those Subway boxes into learning tools. After reading an informational passage on how to build solar ovens, students jumped right in and began the first steps of creating their own. What a creative, hands-on way to review for their upcoming Science SOL! Now we look forward to them baking cookies in their solar ovens 🌞🍪

Our third graders had an amazing time exploring a riparian habitat with Friends of the Rappahannock! 🌿💧 This hands-on adventure was made possible thanks to a grant from the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR), supporting Meaningful Watershed Educational Experiences (MWEEs).

🦊Tat-A-Teacher is ON SALE (during homeroom)!
