Our goal is simple: celebrate students for showing up, being part of their classroom team, and being ready to learn! Each day a homeroom has all of its students present—or is missing only one student—the class earns a football for its grade level. 🏈 Those footballs are already starting to make their way onto our attendance board!

Our staff got in on the fun with a game of their own! Staff members had to search for and collect teacher football cards hidden throughout the building to build a complete team. Congratulations to Ms. Lewis, who completed her roster first! Because at Farmington, every member of the team matters! 🏆

💻 Today, our Elementary ITRTs hit the road, visiting Farmington, Pearl Sample, and A.G. Richardson to bring hands-on coding experiences to our 3rd grade students!

Using ScratchJr, students explored the basics of computer programming as they created, tested and improved their own code. These experiences directly support Virginia’s Computer Science SOLs while building problem-solving and computational thinking skills.
