A Little Magic miniature horse therapy team visited Mrs. Rochow's class today. Students learned to groom, handle and interact with the ponies. 🐴
Farmington Elementary UNITES against Bullying Spirit Week!

STEM at the Airport did not disappoint! Students visited a variety of hands-on exhibits. Exhibits ranged from plane tours, learning about riveting, coding and robotics play, a mini forge station, ambulance tour, virtual welders, and so much more!
A special thanks to our local community helpers who came to speak with our kindergarten classes!
Students who did not receive a referral during a set time period, earned their PBIS Dance Party today ! During their resource, students played a variety of games. 5th grade had a dance off with some of the staff. They were more than gracious and applauded all the moves!
🍎The Crunch 🍎 Heard ‘Round the Commonwealth is a special event to increase awareness of Virginia farm to school programs. To celebrate the event, students and staff were treated to locally grown apples. CRUNCH! 🍎
Mr. Atkin, who previously taught in Korea, teaches fourth grade at Farmington. Drawing from his experience in Korea, he wanted to teach his students about Hangul Day. This Korean holiday celebrates the creation of the Korean alphabet, Hangul.
