Culpeper native, Roque Castro, visited Art Club to teach students the art of sculpture and a little bit about the business world. Mr. Castro came prepared with tools, materials and mini sculptures for the kids to touch and explore. The kids were excited to find that they had seen his work in passing such as the “Love” sign in Historic Downtown and the Lions Club eyeglasses at Rockwater Park. Thank you Mr. Castro for integrating STEAM into your lesson, and showing students that there are many different art hobbies and careers.
