Once a year, students are allowed to make a small exception to the rule about walking in the hall. That day was today with the JINGLE BELL RUN! Led by Mrs. Bell and Mrs. Edwards, students completed a lap through the halls during P.E. with bells, giggles and cheer!

3rd grade stamped their passports to different countries. Students have "visited" Italy, Russia, Mexico, Sweden, Germany, Australia, France and the Philippines. For Italy, students enjoyed a seven course meal learning about the Feast of the Seven Fishes with Ms. Tharp.

1st grade has been learning about goods, services, producers, consumers, spending and saving. Today, they held their market featuring a variety of crafts. Each student had $30 to spend and understood they would have to save their money for the items they wanted the most.

5th grade has been learning about force, motion and energy. Students collaborated on a STEAM challenge to build a roller coaster. They not only successfully constructed coasters but they were also able to use their science vocabulary in planning and problem solving. Ride On!

SNOWBALL fight! Today was the PBIS reward party for all grades. During resource, students who did not receive a referral during the month of December participated in a snow version of another P.E. game. Students and staff had a blast! Keep up the good behavior, FOXES!

Thank you to the EVHS band and choir for a wonderful Christmas concert. It was great to see former foxes too!

Our music club did an amazing job today during the EVHS winter concert. This after school club is led by Mr. Mastromarino. All semester, 4th and 5th grade members have learned a variety of songs, played the drums, xylophones and more. Click the link below for a magical winter treat!

Third grade participated in some festive holiday rotations today! They had a game and crafting room, a candy cane tasting room, a hot cocoa cafe room, and a Nutcracker yoga studio room. A special thank you to the PTO for the crafts!

Student Council met this morning to spread holiday cheer. This month's positive impact project was handwritten, holiday cards for the Culpeper Health & Rehab center. We hope this brings them cheer.
