🎼EVHS provided another wonderful holiday concert for Farmington today. It is always a special holiday treat to see our former students spread holiday cheer. Future band members joined in and some of the younger students were picked to help conduct. Thank you EVHS!

Coding ignites creativity, problem-solving, reasoning, communication, confidence and so much more! Students in 4th grade this week are working with Mrs. Nicholson (ITRT) to code their Ozobots for a winter dance party and a concert of Jingle Bells!

When Santa rolls in during our December fire drill, we all cheer! Lights flashing and sirens blaring, Santa, Culpeper P.D. and Volunteer Fire Department arrived just in time to capture the Grinch.

The holidays are in full swing! The student work and decorations throughout the school look amazing! We continue our 12 days of holidays tomorrow with "Wear White for St Lucia Day!"

Our 3rd grade students read this book with Ms. Ferlazzo (Librarian) and Mrs. Nicholson (ITRT) then collaborated to create their own parade. Working in groups, students created balloon floats that traveled by a coded BeeBots. Happy Thanksgiving!

Farmington hosted a Glow Art Show in the school gym. The event showcased artwork(s) from each student. The gym was transformed with glow sticks and black lights, creating a fun atmosphere. Many of the students' creations featured glow-in-the-dark paint and materials that illuminated in the dark. The event was organized and sponsored by art teacher, Ms. Coloney, who guided the students in creating these glowing masterpieces. Staff, students and families enjoyed an exciting evening of art and creativity.

4th and 5th grade students have been doing a book tasting during library this week with Ms. Ferlazzo. A book tasting is when students “taste”, or sample, a selection of books from various genres. Students rated each book they read and shared interesting parts with their dinner mates.

5th grade took a field trip to tour CTEC and learn about all that it has to offer CCPS students. Students were able to see inside all the classrooms, shadow a student in one chosen area and learn about the building. Many students left saying they would be back in 5 (years)!

The canned food drive has started! Bring in cans from now until Dec. 6th. All donations support the Culpeper Community Christmas Basket Program.
