A teacher and a young student pose together in a classroom setting. The teacher, a woman with shoulder-length brown hair, is wearing a purple shirt with "100 Days" written on it, a beige cardigan, and light blue jeans. She also has a lanyard with an ID badge and a smartwatch on her wrist. The student, a boy with short black hair, is smiling and wearing a white T-shirt with a football design that says, "I tackled 100 Days of School," along with gray sweatpants and black sneakers. They are standing close together, with the teacher resting her hand on the student's shoulder. The background features a classroom with windows, a bookshelf, and a large letter "B" decoration.

Third grade students have been studying predator and prey animals as part of their ecosystems unit. Today, they had the opportunity to examine various skulls, including those of a ram, deer, coyote, river otter, fox, cat, and alligator, and discuss whether each animal was a predator or prey. The students enjoyed comparing the differences between herbivore and carnivore teeth. Additionally, they were excited to explore a glowing, 3D-printed T-rex skull. All skulls were generously donated to Mrs. McMahon by a licensed taxidermist.
