
Counselors from both Floyd T. Binns and Culpeper Middle School visited our rising 6th graders. They talked about course registration, daily schedule and all things new and exciting that come next year!


Congratulations to all of our foxes who competed in the Math 24 competition. Everyone did well and represented our school with pride. A special congratulations goes to Benji, for medaling in the 3rd grade competition.

Mrs. Breeden, school counselor, and Mrs. McMahon's class completed a career interest inventory to see how their interests relate to careers. The career clusters they explored included human services, agricultural sciences, technical sciences, communicative arts, business services and health sciences. They also colored neckties to show the career cluster colors they preferred the most!

Layton Scarbrough, a local artist and illustrator, visited Farmington for a special Title-1 reading event. Scarbrough shared insights into his journey as an illustrator and read from his latest release. Lastly, he led a hands-on activity, guiding the entire crowd through a directed drawing session.

Mark your calendar for another free school event. Ms. Coloney is hosting a Farmington Art Show. Join us Thursday, April 18, 2024 between 5:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. in the gymnasium. Each child will have a piece of art displayed!🎨

Genius Hour, aka Passion Projects, is an educational initiative that allows students to explore their passions and interests in a self-directed manner. Students in Mrs. Fick's Language Arts class were given dedicated time to work on a project of their choosing before presenting to the class.
