Mr. Atkin’s 4th graders put their math skills to the test as they ordered from the menu, worked with decimals and kept a close eye on their budgets! 💵➕➖

CTEC culinary students visited our first-grade classrooms today to teach them how to safely cut fruits and vegetables, wash their hands and clean surfaces for food preparation.🦊

Building Skills for Future Learning! 💻✨ Our 3rd graders have been working with Mrs. Nicholson to learn the ins and outs of Google Slides! Students are practicing how to add slides, type and format text, insert images, and resize and move objects to create their own presentations.

Our staff got in on the fun with a game of their own! Staff members had to search for and collect teacher football cards hidden throughout the building to build a complete team. Congratulations to Ms. Lewis, who completed her roster first! Because at Farmington, every member of the team matters! 🏆
🏈 Attendance is what matters—and so do YOU! 🦊

Thank you to the many families who joined us for our Title I Annual Meeting & Fall Family Fun Night. We had a huge turnout, beautiful weather and a wonderful time celebrating our newly upgraded playground together!
The list of people to thank is long. To everyone who helped plan, prepare, serve and make the evening possible: we appreciate you! 🧡

Your feedback is important to us and helps us continue to strengthen our family-school partnership.

Using ScratchJr, students explored the basics of computer programming as they created, tested and improved their own code. These experiences directly support Virginia’s Computer Science SOLs while building problem-solving and computational thinking skills.
Don’t worry, Sycamore Park, Yowell and Emerald Hill—they’re headed your way later this week!
