📚✨ Hangul Day Celebration in Mr. Atkin’s 4th Grade Class! ✏️
Mr. Atkin’s class at Farmington had a special celebration for Hangul Day — a Korean national holiday honoring the creation of the Korean alphabet, Hangul! With Mr. Atkin’s experience teaching abroad in Korea, students got a meaningful look into Korean culture and language. 🌍 Bonus fun: One of his students speaks Korean this year too! What a fun and educational way to explore world languages right here in our CCPS classrooms!

After reading Room on the Broom, Ms. Tasker's class teamed up with Mrs. Nicholson for a STEAM challenge — design a new broom! Collaborating together and using only tape, scissors and eight straws, students engineered creative broom designs that had to sit at least one inch off the ground. What a fun way to connect reading, problem-solving, and hands-on learning! 💡📚🎃
